  • For Admission : Scan Copy of Student's Admit card(10th level), Mark Sheet(10+2 level), Aadhaar card, Caste certificate (if applicable), BPL certificate (if applicable), Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • All Phone no & Email-id must be valid for Admission Process. All Receipt information Merit List , Roll No will be provided through Phone No & Email.
  • G.O NO-804-Edn(CS) dated 13/05/2019 এই সরকারী নির্দেশ অনুসারে সকল B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com (Hons & Gen) প্রথম বর্ষে CBCS মাধ্যমে অনলাইনে আবেদনকারীকে জানানো হচ্ছে যে ভর্তি সংক্রান্ত আবেদনের সময় ভূল তথ্য দিয়ে আবেদন করলে এবং পরবর্তী সময়ে ভর্তি সংক্রান্ত কোনো তথ্য ভূল হিসাবে প্রমানিত হলে তার ভর্তি তৎক্ষণাৎ বাতিল বলে গণ্য হবে ।

  • Read carefully all the admission related information provided in the admission web-portal.
  • Read carefully all the available courses and elective subject combinations for Honours and General courses for the session 2019-2020.
  • A candidate can apply for maximum of ONE courses in a single application form.
  • Candidates who passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination in 2014 to 2019 with minimum five approved subjects (each of 100 as Full Marks and prescribed pass marks) [at least 1 subject english with full marks 100] only are allowed to apply for admission, provided ‘Course-wise Eligibility Criteria’ are fulfilled.
  • Business Mathematics will not be considered in lieu of Mathematics at (10 + 2) level.
  • Aggregate is taken as total marks of BEST FOUR SUBJECTS excluding Environment Studies.
  • Applicants with Vocational courses in 10+2 level may apply for admission in B.A.(General) only.
  • Applicants with Vocational courses with Commerce in 10+2 level may apply for admission in B.Com.(General).
  • All the admission will be provisional subject to the full fillment of University Admission rules and Registration Criteria.
  • Candidature of an applicant will outright be cancelled (at any stage) if the data given in the On-Line Application Form are found false.
  • Application Fees: Rs. 200/- for one course
  • Bank Charge: Extra Rs. 20/- will be added in the Bank Challan for each transaction.
  • Amount can be submitted to Oriental Bank of Commerce,Mosat as on date mentioned above.
  • Application fees once deposited can not be refunded.
  • Merit List and date of counseling will be published in the Admission and College Web-Portal.
  • Admission will be made strictly on the basis of Merit.
  • All the fields in the on-line application are to be filled with correct data CAUTIOUSLY because the scope of correction of data will be ceased once the application is submitted.
  • The College reserves the right to modify the above criteria as and when necessary. Please keep vigil over the Admission and College web-Portal for the latest information constantly.

    STEPS TO FOLLOW BEFORE DEPOSITION OF APPLICATION FEES INTO THE BANK
  • Fill up the On-Line Application Form sequentially and carefully.
  • After putting in all the information in On-Line Application form, click the verification check-box and then click the Submit Button.
  • Record unique Application No. and Applicnt Id. which has already been generated automatically on the middle the On-Line Application Form for future reference.
  • Print Bank Challan to deposit Application fees (Student, Bank and College copy).
  • Deposit Application Fees using the system generated Printed Bank Challan to make sure that the submitted On-Line Application form is received by the College, only through the following Bank:

  • Name Of The Bank
    Oriental Bank of Commerce, Mosat Branch,Hooghly

  • Take a print out of Submitted On-Line Application Form (Optional) for your personal record.
  • STEPS TO FOLLOW AFTER TWO DAYS OF DEPOSITION OF APPLICATION FEES INTO THE BANK
  • Check Payment status with two days by clicking on the SHOW STATUS MENU on the Home page.
  • Check Application status by clicking on the SHOW STATUS MENU on the Home page.
  • Photo and Signature must be uploaded by Student by clicking on the VIEW APPLICATION on the Home page and give appropriate Application No. and Birth Date
  • Take a print out of Acknowledgement by clicking on the VIEW APPLICATION on the Home page and bring during verification along with Bank Challan.
  • Wait for the publication of Merit list in the College web-portal as scheduled.

    ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION CRITERIA

    For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission to the Honours Course, aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate.

    However, marks in compulsory Environmental Education and Environmental Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. If the subject "Environmental Science" is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks.

    5. (a). A candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained :

  • (i). A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate arid 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
  • Or

  • (ii). 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
  • Or

  • (iii). 50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in his/her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied. BUT POINT(iii) is not applicable for B.COM. Courses.
  • 5. (b). However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe Community taking up Honours Course of Study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination, as the case may be.

    6. Students who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination or its equivalent from the All India Boards/Councils (i.e. CBSE, ISC and National Institute of Open Schooling) need not require to submit the Migration Certificate for getting Registration under this University.
